Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to lunch a move for Chelsea winger, Willian, to replace the Red Devils forward, Anthony Martial this summer.
Martial, who is believed to be unhappy at United, has been constantly linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
The France international has drawn interest from Italian giants, Juventus over the past few months.
ESPN reports that Mourinho is a longtime admirer of Willian and he want to sign the 29-year-old to replace Martial at United this summer.
The Portuguese gaffer worked with the Brazilian international at Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho will find it difficult to strike a deal with Chelsea, however, particularly after the backlash from the Blues fans following the sale of midfielder, Nemanja Matic to Manchester United last summer.
Meanwhile, Willian has made over 200 appearances for Chelsea since joining the West London club back in 2013.
The winger spoke out about his future at Stamford Bridge last month.
He said, “I like to play for Chelsea,” Willian told reporters.
“On the pitch I want to do my best always to fight until the last minute. To do my best for this club.
“To continue to win titles because this club deserves always to win titles. I think we have to continue to improve for next season.
“To improve ourselves. To think about what we did well, what we did not so well and to try to make something different next season.”
